GM McMurray

The Parks & Recreation Department would like to congratulate Grand Master James McMurray our Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido instructor. Grand Master McMurray was recognized internationally as a martial art pioneer and leader. He was inducted to the Korean Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame on August 9, 2014. This honor was very special, as only sixteen (16) people were inducted. Of these awards, five (5) were posthumous, and eleven were awarded to living martial artists from around the globe. The inductees were also awarded proclamations from the Canadian Parliament and a Minister of Parliament was in attendance.

The Parks & Recreation Department is proud to have Grand Master McMurray as a member of the Parks & Recreation team.
