City of Harker Heights General Election
Saturday, May 5th, 2018


The City of Harker Heights will be conducting a General Election on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  at the Harker Heights Recreation Center 307 Miller’s Crossing, Harker Heights, Texas 76548 to elect Council Member, Place 2 and Council Member, Place 5.        Both have three year terms (2018-2021). 

Filing for Place on the Ballot – Begins on January 17th, 2018 and ends on February 16th, 2018.

Early Voting by personal appearance will be conducted at Harker Heights City Hall at 305 Miller’s Crossing, Harker Heights, Texas 76548 from:

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th, 2018 and May 1st; and from

7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 24th and 30th, 2018.

Election Day will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 5th, 2018 at the:

If you are not a registered voter for Bell County and wish to become a registered voter, you may come by the City of Harker Heights City Hall at 305 Miller’s Crossing or the Public Library at 400 Indian Trail, Harker Heights, Texas 76548 and speak with a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar to obtain and complete a Voter Registration Application.  Any registered voter that needs to make changes to their voter registration information may also speak with a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar to make any necessary changes. The deadline to become a registered voter for the May 5th, 2018 Municipal Election is Wednesday, April 4th, 2018.
