MAY 2, 2020 GENERAL ELECTION POSTPONED TO NOVEMBER 3, 2020

The Governor of Texas, in declaring the state of disaster for all counties related to the imminent threat of disaster posed by COVID-19, also proclaimed that all political subdivisions may postpone their May 2, 2020 election to the November 3, 2020 uniform election date.  On March 24, 2020, the City of Harker Heights ordered by Ordinance to postpone the May 2nd, 2020 election.

The City of Harker Heights will be conducting a Municipal Election for the following positions: Mayor and Council Member Place 4.  The Mayor and Council Members serve terms of three years.  The persons elected to these positions will be in office until May of 2023.
