Department to improve your security

You will meet the officers and staff who work daily in your interest. You can participate in simulations of an actual situation and gain insight into the difficult process of identifying who is or is not a threat to the community or the

officers. Learn the real world challenges of those who work to protect you as opposed to the fictional portrayals shown on television, videos, and in theaters. Find out how city police officers and those employed by the public school system work together to protect your children. See the changes that happen in the city when the sun goes down. Learn about the new innovations surrounding the centralized county emergency dispatch system and how it affects you.
