Effective November 1, 2018, the City of Harker Heights has lifted the Stage 1-Voluntary Water Conservation for outdoor watering.

The Brazos River Authority has terminated the Stage 1 Drought Watch for the Brazos River Authority's Resevoir System, including
Lake Belton, the City of Harker Heights source of Drinking Water.

Thank you for supporting the voluntary water conservation.

The Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center is located at 403 Indian Trail and is open on the following days and times.

Sunday: 10am - 2pm
Monday: 1pm - 4pm 
Tuesday - Friday: 1pm - 7pm
Saturday: 10am - 6pm
