City of Harker Heights Equipment Exchange Program
The City of Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with Melissa Brown of Farmers Insurance are pleased to announce the creation of C.H.H.E.E.P.- the City of Harker Heights Equipment Exchange Program. We will be accepting new or slightly used sports equipment, shoes, cleats, or other sport related items. Families can then come and pick out equipment for their children enrolled in the current sport being offered through the city.
Our first sport will be the winter soccer season starting in February. We will continue to collect items throughout the year and have dates where items can be picked up. We would like to thank Prospector Self Storage for donating a storage unit and Heights Lumber for donating the lumber to build the shelves.
Saturday, January 26
th, we are having a kick-off at Prospector Self Storage from 1:30-3:30 to build up inventory. So if you have some left over equipment that you want to get rid of
or know someone who does, please come out and help support the program.
