The City has received a new Public Protection Classification from the Texas Department of Insurance. The new classification rating of a Class 3 becomes effective on August 1, 2009.This lowering of the Public Protection Classification should be reported to your local insurance company. This lowered classification can reduce the cost of fire insurance premiums on individual homes and businesses. Please contact

The Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center is located at 403 Indian Trail and is open on the following days and times.
Sunday: 10am - 2pm
Monday: 1pm - 4pm
Tuesday - Friday: 1pm - 7pm
Saturday: 10am - 7pm
