To date (May 31, 2015) the City has issued a total of four (4) commercial permits totaling $17,050,000 in commercial permit values for 2015.
The City has issued twelve (12) permits for single-family residential construction through May 31, 2015.
• 1 residence in Tuscany Meadows
• 1 residence in Evergreen Estates
• 10 residences in The Grove at Whitten Place
The City has issued one (1) permit for a two-family (duplex) residential construction through May 31, 2015.
• 1 Duplex in Comanche Land
To date (May 31, 2015) the City has issued a total of ninety-six (96) residential permits in 2015.
Based on residential permits received to date, May 31, 2015, the estimated population of Harker Heights is 29,331 residents. According to the US Census, the population in 2010 was 26,700 residents.
