Mr. Carpenter was appointed City Manager by the Mayor and City Council on March 9, 1994. He is responsible for the operation of the City. This includes planning, budgeting, supervision of employees and providing quality services to residents of the City.
Ms. Brunson began her career with the City of Harker Heights on November 15, 1984. She has held various positions at the City during her tenure. Currently she is the Assistant City Manager. The Assistant City Manager supervises the Administrative Department Staff, the Court Department Personnel, the IT Department, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Library, and the Human Resource Department. Additionally, the position is responsible for council agendas and records management.
